| Remarks | 京都出身で、和歌山で活躍した大和絵師・岩瀬広隆(1808〜77)により、立烏帽子に水干をまとった白拍子の姿で舞う静御前(生没年不詳)を描いた作品。静御前は、平安時代末期に京都で舞の名手として知られていた白拍子で、壇ノ浦合戦ののち源頼朝(1147〜99)と不和になった源義経(1159〜89)とともに京都を出奔した。吉野で義経と別れた静は、その後京都や鎌倉で義経の行方について厳しい尋問を受けたが答えず、鎌倉･鶴岡八幡宮で頼朝やその妻･政子(1157〜1225)の求めに応じて舞を舞って、その美しさに魅了させたという。本品は、扇面の中に後筆で「静御前 舞妓 よしのの 優哉 花ふぶき 廣隆筆」と記され、「廣」（朱文）・「隆」（朱文）という当初の小さな款印が捺されているのが確認できる。 |
