| Remarks | 浜口灌圃(1778～1837)は、有田郡広川村の名家西浜口家5代目の当主であり、幕末憂国の志士として名高い浜口梧陵の祖父にあたる人である。名は恭。湯浅福蔵寺の平林無方らとともに野呂介石について絵を学び、南画をよくしたといわれる。この灌圃筆になる横幅の山水図は、その師介石の画風によく倣いながらも、広がりのある構築的な空間表現と穏やかでくったくのないのびのびとした筆致に、灌圃独自の画境をかいまみることのできる優品である。 |
