| Remarks | 紀州の三大文人画家の一人・野呂介石(1747〜1828)による山水図。画面左の家屋が点在する高山からは、急流が3本の滝となって流れ下る。手前の岸の亭には、人影はみられない。款記によると、「北苑」すなわち中国・五代末〜北宋初頭の画人・董源(934〜62)の作品を模して、門人の小山渭川（青筠、生没年不詳）の求めに応じて制作したものという。介石は、米芾(1051〜1107)・黄公望(1269〜1354)・倪瓉(1301〜74)・伊孚九(1698〜1947？)ら、中国・宋代〜清代の画人の作品をよく学習したことが知られており、この山水図もそのような作品の一つとして数えられよう。落款は、「倣北苑應青筠詞丈之需正、介石山人隆」(款記)、「第五隆印」(白文方印)、「介石居士」(白文方印)である。 |
