| Remarks | 京都の陶師･西村善五郎保全作の香合である。保全は文政10(1828)年に、表千家10世吸江斎宗左(1788～1860)らとともに偕楽園御庭焼拡窯のため和歌山を訪れ、その業績によって徳川治宝より「河濱支流」･「永樂」の印章を賜り、名も永楽と改めた。それを記念して、翌年に製作されたのがこの香合である。印籠蓋造の蓋表に胡粉置上で吹上菊を描き、その他の部分は素地の上に朱漆を塗り金箔を貼り付けている。蓋裏中央に「河濱支流」、身底面中央に「永樂」の拝領印が押されている。また、蓋裏の朱書は自らの好みを証す吸江斎の「好」一字と花押である。 |
