| Remarks | 紀州三大文人画家の一人・桑山玉洲(1746～99)の作品で、水辺を含むなだらかな山水の景が広がり、あたりは一面、雪に覆われている。中央には、水面にせり出して建つ比較的大きな家屋があり、その中では、七人の高士たちが宴会でも催しているかのように、赤い机を囲んで寄り合っており、これが自題の｢雪館集飲｣を表している。画面全体には吹墨のように胡粉の飛沫を散らし、降りしきる雪の雪片をダイナミックに描き出すことで、印象的な雪景を演出している。「知足上人」に献呈されたという款記がある。 |
